Our photography is: spontaneous, fun, modern, edgy, nostalgic, romantic, and different. Our approach is using a mix of ‘creative portraiture’ for our fine art photography and ‘photojournalism’ to create the spontaneity and fun. We believe that the album is the most important element in a wedding. The album is the first family heirloom destined to be passed down from generation to generation. Because of this, when shooting, we always have the album in mind.
For most of the wedding day, we are unobtrusive – we stay out of the way photographing the story of your day as it unfolds. We capture real laughter, real smiles, real tears, and true emotion. I not only shoot the magic that is already there, I also create magic of my own. As beautiful as you are, I can make you shine even brighter with a simple direction or suggestion. Our favorite images to shoot are the edgy romantic shots that make the engagement, bridal, and first look sessions so much fun. We create the more stylized or staged images mostly during allotted times so as not to disrupt the schedule of the day and keep everyone relaxed. (We make sure that you set a few hours aside for a fun shoot to create truly remarkable images. Fantastic images become your favorite images simply by allowing a little more time to find the perfect background and lighting. If we can’t find it – we create it! One of our client’s favorite tricks is our on-location studio.) We shoot standard posed family group shots as well, but try to keep them short and sweet, so we can concentrate on relaxed portraits and candids.
My Style loves your style.
I usually start the day out shooting with ‘motion posing’. This actually isn’t posing at all. I simply set the stage for the image. I put my subjects in good light and location, step back and then capture the moments. I give light direction during the shoot but the couple are the ones creating the moments. Motion posing is very fluid and we don’t overwork any single location. Motion posing takes a little time. However it is so much fun and the resulting images are incredible. Later on in the day I may do more conceptual shots that require more direction on my part. These images become art. These are beautifully displayed in your album and on your walls. Because I shoot with the album in mind, I am able to create the story of your day so much better. I focus more on you, the bride and groom, and less on everything else. Albums are better because when shooting I keep your wedding album in mind. Your wedding album is your very first family heirloom. We do not take this lightly. I will give slight direction when appropriate or possible to enhance beauty. There are many times when just a simple direction can really help make someone their best. It is my job to make the bride the best she can be. Many of my clients’ favorite images were made with light direction, even thought they appear natural. I use photojournalistic techniques and methods to capture the magic of the day that is already there. I then use my talent and experience to create magic of my own. I enjoy creating more stylized fashion inspired images when we have time. I do my best to make the time.

Fun Extras:
Next Day / Same Day Slideshow:
Images from the day before are displayed in a looping slideshow with or without music for guests to view.
Images will be displayed on your choice of client or venue provided equipment.
If one cannot be provided we will rent a projector or large computer monitor.
The slideshow can then be burned to DVD for your guests at a low price.

The Photo Booth:
Set up a ‘photo booth’ at your reception! How cool is that? The photo booth is actually a mini studio we set-up on location. Combine with the Instant Presentation package above at a discount to allow other guests see the images as they are being made (possibly in a different location)! We Provide dry-erase speech bubbles with markers and some props. The guests use a wireless remote to control the camera! You just provide the guests! We dynamically create the studio based on its location to best suit the needs of the guests using it. This could be a 10×10 pop-up tent outside or just a corner of the ballroom. The mini studio photo booth allows guests of your reception to take photos of themselves with out limits or worries. There are no limitations on the number of photos, and each image will be lit perfectly.

Our most popular albums are below. We offer many different styles, sizes, and designs to suit your personal style and needs. These albums are professionally designed, printed and bound. They are built to last for generations.
Popular options are round corners, silver/gold gilding, and exotic leather covers. Companion albums (parent albums) can be made in the same size or smaller at a reduced cost.

Your album will be designed for you as quickly as possible. We put top priority on designing your perfect album. The number of pages we will design is determined by the actual images taken, not by your packages album credit. If you choose to add additional pages or order the album the way it was initially designed (with less than 5 changes), you may be eligible for a discount. Once your images and album spreads are ready for proofing, we will ask Bride and Groom to come in and take a look.
Free Add-ons are gold/silver foil stamping, gold/silver gilding or rounded corners. (If you would like gilding, your album must have square corners.)

Coffee Table Book Parent/Companion Albums:
Once your album is designed, you then have the option of a companion gift or parents book. You can choose a unique book, or a clone of your album. Books are very much like the albums, only they are printed on book paper instead of photographic paper. The binding process is different as well. The good news is they are easier to make and therefore less expensive. Each book features a custom printed cover either on canvas or glossy.
